Introduction
Prof Dr. Uday Salunkhe is a mechanical engineer with a management degree in 'Operations' and a Doctorate in 'Turnaround Strategies’; he has over 20 years of strong experience in academics.
Prof Dr. Uday Salunkhe joined Welingkar as a young faculty member in 1995. He saw the immense opportunity that lay ahead for business and management education to make a difference to society and transform lives. He previously worked with Mahindra & Mahindra, ISPL and other well-known and prestigious corporate organisations.

Dr. Uday Salunkhe has served as the President of Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) during 2007-08, which is the second largest network of Management Schools in the world and is represented by more than 400 business schools in India. He is also on the Executive Board of Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA) which is an initiative of the South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC).
